Project Impact

Inspiring the Next Generation of Changemakers.

Project Impact was created to empower high school students to see themselves as agents of positive change both locally and globally. What began as a student-led initiative to support the Saint Bakhita Early Childhood Development Center in Kalongo, Uganda, has grown into a movement that connects youth, universities, and communities through innovation, empathy, and service.

Through Project Impact, students learn how small ideas can lead to meaningful impact. They engage in real-world problem solving, design-thinking workshops, and service-based projects that address real needs, from fundraising for education initiatives in Uganda to supporting local nonprofits in their own communities.

By collaborating with University of Notre Dame students, Saint Bakhita’s Innovation Foundation, and industry mentors, participants develop essential leadership and soft skills, communication, empathy, collaboration, and creativity that prepare them to make a difference far beyond the classroom.

Our mission is to inspire students to dream big, take action, and understand that their voices and ideas matter. Together, we are building a generation of compassionate innovators ready to change the world one project at a time.
