Renee Maslak
graduated from the University of Notre Dame (BS ‘24), where she studied Physics in Medicine on the pre-med track with a minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. During her senior year, she led the Innovation for Impact Club’s Early Childhood Development (ECDC) Vertical to design and fundraise for the early childhood education curriculum. Renee traveled to St. Bakhita’s Vocational Training Center in June 2024 to help open the ECDC and again in March 2025 to pilot the Women’s Empowerment Program. She has remained involved as a club advisor for current projects supporting the ECDC and the development of a Women’s Empowerment program that incorporates her work on Menstrual Health Management. Currently, Renee is a first-year medical student at Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia, where she plans to become a surgeon who serves underprivileged communities around the world.
