Kaila Johnstone

Kaila
is the vice president of a club dedicated to supporting schools in Uganda. I attend Burlingame High School, where I enjoy learning and staying involved in my community. I’m interested in reading, swimming, and traveling, and I recently started playing water polo. I grew up in the Bay Area and spent a year and a half living in Barcelona, where I connected with my Spanish-Catalan heritage and strengthened my language skills. I look forward to continuing to grow as a student and leader and finding new opportunities to learn and make a positive impact.
